Wildlife crime scenes are often complex and very dynamic, which comes with a lot of challenges. Most notably, the resources that are applied to human crime scenes are rarely applied to wildlife crime scenes, and evidence is often not handled as carefully as it should or investigated at all. However, the same principles are applicable, as every contact leaves a trace.
